PROTECT YOURSELF !!!

To protect your invention initially, you should write it down in ink in as much detail as is necessary to enable one of ordinary skill to understand it (including drawings) and have it witnessed by at least two other persons who are not legal relations of yours. A Notary Public is also useful. Then, keep your record in a safe place and do not divulge the date of conception to anyone. Such a procedure, if carried out correctly, can be used to establish your date of conception of the invention if there is ever a dispute with any one else.
